Yes! Your agent can prepare a binder and fax or email it fairly quickly to the loan or escrow officer in charge of closing your loan. It's a good idea to have the loan officer send your agent a binder request ahead of time so he or she can prepare the binder correctly. The binder is a temporary proof of insurance which lists the insured, the property, the coverage and most importantly for the lender the name and address of the mortgagee. Waiting until the last minute before closing to order the binder way cause delays in closing your loan.
